Cunene

Cunene lies north of the Cunene River, that forms the border between Angola and Namibia.
In the National Park of Mupa, in the Province of Cunene, ostrich, elephant and hippopotamus can be found.

Huambo

Huambo is a province of Angola.It is one of the geographically smaller provinces, situated in the Central Region approximately 450 km south east of the capital, Luanda.  The most prominent peak in the province is Mt. Môco in Londuimbali, with 2,620 metres. The peak is the highest point in Angola.

The National Park of Bicuar, in the Province of Huila is the home of elephants, antelopes, elands, gnus and zebras.

Around Luanda, the main places to visit are the fortress (containing the Museum of Armed Forces), the National Museum of Anthropology and the Museum of Slavery.
In the National Park of Quissama, South of Luanda, elephant, African antelope and wild boar can be found. The coastline of the park is used an egg laying ground for  sea turtles.

4th of July Celebration
Angola’s annual 4th of July Celebration commemorates the nation’s birthday with a patriotic concert, fireworks, parade, games, food and family fun.

Fall Fest
Fall Fest is Angola’s largest event. Held annually over a weekend in September, Fall Fest includes a parade, crafts, food, family activities and a Civil War re-enactment.
