Banking
Some of the larger banks in Yaoundé and Doula have ATM facilities.

Currency
The only form of payment that is accepted in Cameroon is cash in local currency Central African franc (FCFA), . There are only
a few hotels in Yaoundé and Doula that will accept travellers cheques and change US dollars. Some of the larger banks in
Yaoundé and Doula have ATM facilities.

Dialing Code
+237 is the international dialing code for Cameroon.

Official Languages
There are two official languages that are spoken in Cameroon and they are English and French.

There are petrol stations in all major towns in Camerron. Availability of petrol is good.

World Heritage sites
Dja Faunal Reserve: Lying in the South Eastern part of the country this rain forest is one of the largest and best protected
forests. It has been said that Cameroon is one of the largest and oldest countries in history. Approximately 90% of the bio
population has been undisturbed. To this day many more regions are awaiting their status to become a heritage site.

Nyem-Nyem Festival
This festival is held every year in January the purpose of this festival is to show resistance against German penetration into their land.

Medumba Festival 
This event only takes place every two years but usually falls in the month of July, the festival is to promote the Medumba language
as well as the 13 villages and its artworks.

Ngondo Festival
The festival Ngondo is held every two years in the first week in December. The festival provides you with joyous entertainment as
well as gathering all the local dwellers coastally from Limbe to Kribi, with the Wouri River. The festival is held in the capital of Cameroon,
Douala. This ritual they practice  is usually well known to the believers of living in the water. This all starts on the banks of the Wouri
and includes traditional dances, choral music, handicraft exhibition, a canoe parade and race and a carnival.
