hoonoze.com has adverts placed in the "So Much to do" magazine calling for both establishment owners and tourists to log onto the site. 25 000 copies distributed in Zululand, South Africa via the local supermarket groups SPAR and Pick 'n Pay and nationally around South Africa via Tourism Kwa Zulu Natal (TKZN)'s network of tourism offices.

hoonoze.com CEO, Denise Howard is asked to make a presentation at the 2008 Women in Dialogue in Empangeni. This event marks the  52^nd Anniversary of the historic Women’s March to the Union Buildings in Pretoria in 1956 to protest the brutal pass laws. The City of uMhlathuze intends bringing together women from different social groups and economic sectors to engage in a dialogue.

Competition 4

At the Zululand Expo held in Richards Bay from 24-26 September Malule Safaris arranged a superb prize to one lucky person who signed up for the HooNoze.com newsletter at the show. Anikha was drawn as the winner of 2 nights (accommodation only) at Didima Game Reserve and a R495 Platinum gift voucher from uShaka Marine World. Congratulations Anikha!

Competition 3

Kathy Schroeder was the person drawn to most closely guess how many baby whales were born in San Sebastian Bay (Witsand, Western Cape). She won 2 nights accommodation for 4 people at Barry's Holiday Accommodation and another night en-route in Swellendam with Wildebraam Berry Estate. Congratulations Kathy.

Competition 2

Our Competition #2 was won by Saras Ramsundhar. She and a partner have won a 2 night stay at Chapmans Peak B&B including champagne, a cheese platter and a nail treatment. The Dunes Restaurantwill be treating them to a 3 course dinner with wine on the beach and Charlos Tours will take them on a half day tour of the winelands Enjoy your treat Saras.

Competition 1

3 South African Boutique Hotels offered a 2 night stay on a bed and breakfast basis for 3 lucky winners. Entrants were asked to select their choice of prize in order to qualify for the draw. Bayete Zulu Boutique Lodge in Zululand, The Peech Hotel in Johannesburg and The Sugar Hotel in cape Town. The competition ran through Dec 2008 and closed on 31 January 2009.
